The concept was built around the students wanting “something else” than the white and bright interior of the school. The dark walls and black ceiling also make the large amount of technical equipment blend in with the interior. We chose a colorful but dusty palette and elements of copper and oak to add contrast and warmth to the toned down interiors.

To meet the variety of user needs there are three different types of seating to choose from. When there is no presentation or concerts the stage is furnished with seating and tables that are easy to move.

The sofa booths are a special edition of “Le Mur” from the Swedish producer Materia, made only for this project. The stage, bar counter and wall displays are also designed especially for the project by Dis. interiørarkitekter, as well as all graphic decorations including the “Kroa” logo.
