When launching new furniture in the spring of 2013 the client Skøyen Design Center, which is a collaboration between 8 different furniture and lighting producers, wanted to renew their showroom.
In addition to presenting the products in an aesthetic way, the showroom was to used as a social workspace for the different companies sharing the space.
New carpets were added to emphasize the different areas we divided the space into, to make it more open and airy. The blue carpet with the round edge serves to bring people into the centre of the room, so that the employees can see them from where they are seated.
